Redang Island - Malaysia - Part 2

Hi Guysss,

So lets get into the fun part of Redang Island which is the various on land and sea activities.To take advantage of low tides and sunny weather you do have to get up early and catch the fantastic sunrise across the horizon.We had a pre planned itenerary as we chose a package which I shall attach below. We decided to go snorkelling and covered 3 spots on Day 1 and 2 spots on Day 2 excluding the beach itself by the resort which is rich in marine life such a Clown Fish (nemo),Eels and several other fishes that get up close and personal with you.

Feeding the fishies p.s they do bite your finger for more :P





The food at the resort was scrumptious the cook was a welcoming and friendly local who served up dishes piping hot and even made us tea each time we requested for it. 




The last day we decided to ditch snorkelling wake up early and take a walk through the forest to reach the other side of the island to an almost untouched beach. I shall allow the pictures to speak for themselves.We travelled towards the end of February hence it was slightly cloudy as the monsoon season was about to end.






Here's our travel itenary although it did change according to weather conditions.

Floating Market & Wat Trimitir Samphanthawong Temple ~ Bangkok ~ Thailand

When in Bangkok one of the most raved about and culturally unique activity is hands down taking a cruise at the Floating Market.This has been on my bucket list for awhile now and it was thrilling to experience authentic local culture in an epic long tailed boat.The reason we chose Damnoen Saduak floating market was due to convenience despite that the traffic contributes to an almost 2 hour journey (110 km)from the main city of Bangkok to Damnoen Saduak which is located in the Ratchaburi Province. I do not mind a long drive as it allows me to get a glimpse of local culture and practices and what makes the city so unique.
