Bukit Fraser & Cameron Highland - Malaysia- Day 1 MY FIRST EVER BLOG

I have always been enthusiastic to draw a plan and pack off to the next adventure. This was another such weekend getaway with mates that engraved stunning memories for time to come. It was't my first time heading to Cameron Highland but for those who face the heat of tropical Malaysia on a daily basis love the sweet cool escape of alluring hills and strawberry farms. So began the journey, we chose to drive as it would give us the freedom to explore every nook and corner and not stick to a travel itinerary. On the way to Cameron Highland lay one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Malaysia "Chilling Waterfall" which was our first pit stop after a 3 hours drive from Bandar Sunway. I shall allow the pictures to speak for themselves.

Scenic Drive to Bukit Frase

Sungai Selangor Dam

A quick tip rm 1 charge for entrance fees to the fall. I would suggest you get waterproof shoes you may have to cross rivers in order to reach the fall itself. Carry plenty of water and even food for a picnic. The water is cool and absolutely wipes off any tiredness that you may face. Warning the flow of water is fast and a sturdy grip is necessary to avoid your slippers or even you from flowing down the river.

After a quick dip in the waterfall we decided to wrap it up and head towards Bukit Fraser as it was getting quite late. We were welcomed with fresh air and cool temperature to a small town like area and some touristy photography spots.

As we wanted to reach Cameron Highland before sunset we decided to have some refreshments and get ready for a 3 hour drive. Fortunately we were able to sip in the beautiful sunset on the way and the road was absolutely long, winding and twinkled with strawberry farms on either end.

We stayed at the "Hill View Inn" rm 139 for a triple bedroom!

I hope you enjoyed this blog content. Be sure to check out upcoming daily blogs on various destinations in Malaysia for quick escapades.

Cheers!
